Effective March 1, 2023, the Sangamon County State's Attorney’s Bad Check Program administered by Victim Services, Inc. will no longer be accepting checks at this office.

Moving forward, if you believe your business has been the victim of a crime involving a fraudulently
written check, please contact the Sangamon County State's Attorney's Office at (217) 753-6690 or your local police agency for purposes of filing a report. Additionally, you may consider pursuing a civil remedy in Small Claims Court.
